Removing and installing/replacing sliding
member for folding sunroof, left or right

Release cover at front and rear,

refer to 54 11 020.

Version with net wind deflector:

Release screws (1) and remove sliding member (2).

Installation:

Insert screws with Loctite 242 (sourcing reference: BMW
Parts Service).

Tightening Torque,

refer to Technical Data 54 11 2AZ.

Version without net wind deflector:

Release screws (1) and remove sliding member (2).

Installation:

Insert screws with Loctite 242 (sourcing reference: BMW
Parts Service).

Tightening Torque,

refer to Technical Data 54 11 2AZ.
