Replacing oil-pressure switch
Applies to all engines:
Release oil-filter cover so that oil from oil filter returns to oil pan.
Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 11 42 2AZ
Check oil level.
Disconnect connector.
M40:
Disconnect intake hose from suction-filter housing intake fitting
Unscrew switch.
Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 61 31 2AZ
M50:
Remove complete suction filter.
Disconnect air hose for alternator.
Unscrew switch.
Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 61 31 2AZ
S50:
Removing suction-filter housing.
Disconnect plug-in connection (1).
Unfasten screw (2) on heat-protection plate.
Loosen hose clip (3) from intake hose.
Loosen screws (4).
Lift suction-filter housing sightly.
