Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
top timing case cover (M43 / M43TU)
Remove cylinder head cover,
refer to 11 12 000.
If necessary, remove bracket for air injection and solenoid valve
with pressure accumulator.
Drain coolant and remove coolant thermostat,
refer to 11 53 000.
Detach sensor for cylinder recognition from timing case cover.
Unfasten timing case cover.
