Protect trunk lid to prevent it from dropping, then remove gas
pressure prop.
Caution!
Gas pressure props have high resistance.
Loosen left and right screws (1) until the trunk lid is just able to
move and no more.
Caution!
Before closing the trunk lid and when closing the trunk lid,
ensure that the body and/or trunk lid are not damaged.
Close trunk lid.
Adjusting gap dimensions and position of trunk lid relative to the
other attachments on the body,
refer to 41 00
Caution!
On transition area between roof/trunk lid, trunk lid must not
extend above height of roof otherwise wind noise will be
created.
Open trunk lid and secure to prevent it from dropping.
