Triggering rollover protection system (convertible) via diagnostic interface
Caution!
Open soft top or remove hard top. Risk of injury when the system is triggered.
Load software in MoDiC or BMW SERVICE TESTER and connect to diagnosis jack. Activate rollover protection via
diagnosis "Component activation"; for further information on procedure, refer to DIS Tester.
Note:
Issue a separate invoice for triggering the rollover protection system. If the rollover protection system fails to
activate, it can be triggered mechanically, refer to
Triggering/retracting rollover protection bar.
