3 Series E36 318i (M43) CONVER
Remove knock sensors (1) and (2) from the engine block.
Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to TD 12 14 2AZ
Installation:
1.
Knock sensor, cylinders 1 and 2
2.
Knock sensor, cylinders 3 and 4
Clean the contact surface of the knock sensor on the engine
block.
Note installation position of leads.
Avoid leads chafing against engine carrier.
Angle A = 70
°
Installation:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit, check faults in
memory then cancel fault memory.
