3 Series E36 318i (M43) CONVER
Separate connection to side member along edge.
Distance (A) = 55 mm
Cut new part.
Adjust trunk floor with straightening angle gear and locate,
machining joint areas if necessary.
Mark out holes for plug-welding trunk floor on joint areas.
Remove trunk floor.
Drill holes for plug-welding in connecting area to cross
member (1).
Offset connecting points on side member (2).
Detach edges (3).
Drill holes for plug-welding other connecting areas.
Coat mating surfaces on new part and on car with zinc dust paint.
