Unclip door trim panel all round with special tool 00 9 318
(universal wedge).

If necessary, disconnect plug connection for speaker.

If necessary, replace damaged clips.

Installation:

If the clips (1) on the door do not stay in the recesses (2) of
the door trim (pulled apart or torn), use repair clips.

Cut cover around area of repair clip.

Convertible and coupé:

Attach repair clip (3) as illustrated in diagram.

Sedan and touring:

Twist repair clips (3) through 180

°

 and attach.

Installation:

After fitting the door trim, proceed as follows:

- 

Open door window.

- 

Lock with vehicle key.

- 

Check whether linkage of safety button can move freely.

- 

If necessary, align linkages.
