Removing and installing or replacing both
Bowden cables for convertible top lid locks
Removing left luggage compartment trim,
refer to 51 47 151
Unfasten tab washers and disconnect Bowden cables (1) and (2)
from motor.
With Bowden cable on right, additional:
Partially remove trim on partition wall,
refer to 51 47 140
Lift out omega clips and remove complete Bowden cable.
Open side windows.
Lift clamping bracket and soft top compartment cover upright.
