3 Series E36 318i (M43) CONVER
Pull off left/right retaining pins (1). Lift out left/right clip (2).
Version without handle recess:
Remove finisher strip (3).
Version with handle recess:
See next work step.
Version with handle recess:
Unfasten left/right screws (1) and take off finisher strip.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 54 34 10AZ
Installation:
Install foam strips (1).
Only replace:

Remove plate (1).
Install foam strips (2).
