3 Series E36 318i (M43) SAL
Unfasten screws on left and right retaining hooks.
Close hood lid.
Align hood lid to side panels at front and side.
Raise hood lid.
Retighten loosened screws.
Lower hood lid several times so that the locks can be centered.
Caution!
Do not let the hood lid lock.
Retighten loosened screws.
Caution!
Remove one mounting screw from each side, degrease, coat
with Loctite No. 270 (refer to BMW Parts) and reinstall.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm
