3 Series E36 318i (M43) SAL
Unscrew bolts.
Pull off retainer (1) upwards and unclip ball socket (2). Push back
and disconnect cable (3).
Remove rubber strap (4).
Installation:
If applicable, lock new retainer (refer to BMW Parts) by
bending with special tool 52 0 050.
Installation:
Pull cable forward until operation is just free of play and install
new retainer.
Pull complete seat rails off frame.
