Removing and Installing Sealing Cylinder Head for BMW 3 Series E36 318i (M43) TOUR Engine (M43)

Rotate engine at central bolt in direction of rotation until the first
cylinder is at firing TDC.

Locate camshaft with special tool 11 3 190 in firing TDC position
of first cylinder.

Release chain wheel screws.

Carefully and slowly push back tensioning rail at hexagon until
strain is relieved from the timing chain. 

Remove chain wheel.
