Shape of glue bead:
(A) = 7 mm
(B) = 9 ... 11 mm
Caution!
Apply glue bead swiftly because skin formation time of glue is
max. 10 minutes.
Application point of glue bead at point (1).
Apply glue bead at distance (A) from seal and install rear window
with special tool 51 3 010.
(A) = 1 mm
Fix rear window in position firstly at sides by D-pillars, then
underneath (with backing, e.g. styrofoam block) with fabric
adhesive tape.
Caution!
Remove dirt from residual glue with Sika-Entferner 208
(Sourcing Reference: BMW Parts Service) before glue is
hard. Do not press out rear window glass again for this
purpose. Hardened glue can only be removed by machine.
