Repairing line tube to rear window washer
unit
Cut out the defective section of line tube. Cut an appropriate
length of hose 6166 1 357 388 (sold by meter). Slide hose clips
1613 1 379 229 over ends of wires. Connect ends of both lines
to cut length of hose. The hose must be pushed at least A = 12
mm onto the line ends.
Installation:
Coat ends of lines with anti-friction agent.
Arrange hose clips on the overlap and tighten down firmly.
Wrap hose clips in insulating tape to prevent chafing.
