Removing and installing / replacing outside
handle on left or right front door
Removing door window,
refer to 51 32 170
Removing door lock,
refer to 51 21 090
Unclip cover.
Push slide forwards with special tool 51 3 190 and remove
outside handle cover.
Installation:
Pull slide backwards with special tool 51 3 190 and ensure
unit locks correctly.
Turn and remove holder on outside handle.
If applicable, disconnect the door lock heating plug.
