Replacing toggle catches on rear left and
right vent windows

Removing trim from rear roof pillar (C-pillar),

refer to 51 43 251

Unscrew bolts.

Unfasten screw and remove toggle catch.

Installation:

Install correctly.

For tightening torque refer to Technical Data 51 36 2AZ

Version with electric vent window:

If applicable, remove toggle catch (1) from drive shaft (2). If drive
shaft (2) movement is stiff, wrap in clean cloth and brace with
pliers.

Note:

If the drive shaft cannot be dismantled,

remove drive shaft for electric for electric vent window.
