3 Series E36 318is (M42) SAL
Caution!
Left-hand threads.
Brace pulley with special tool 11 5 050 (bracket) and unfasten
cap nut from water pump with special tool 11 5 040.
Installation:
Tighten fan using special tool 11 5 040.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 52 1AZ
When using special tool 11 5 040, 30 Nm on the torque
wrench scale are equivalent to a tightening torque of 40 Nm.
Disconnect coolant hoses on engine.
Disconnect heater hoses at heater and heating valve.
Installation:
Topping up and draining cooling system,
refer to 17 00 039
