3 Series E36 318is (M42) SAL
Mark housing sections, unscrew bolts and pull housing sections
apart.
If there is stiffness from the face (through the regulator opening),
drive out rotor towards rear with brief knocks from a piece of hard
wood and a plastic hammer.
Disconnect stator winding on housing.
Unscrew bearing cover.
