Removing and installing or replacing
alternator (M 40, M 42)
General Data, refer to Page 12 00 ...
Read fault memory.
Disconnect battery ground wire.
Remove air cleaner upper section with air-flow sensor.
Disconnect wires.
Remove cover cap.
Unscrew bolts.
Note:
Dismantle alternator, refer to 12 31 513
