Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
timing case cover at top (M44)

Remove cylinder head cover,

refer to 11 12 000.

Remove coolant thermostat,

refer to 11 53 000.

Remove cylinder detection sensor from timing case cover, 

refer to 12 14 525.

Unfasten timing case cover.

Remove rubber sealing strip.

Installation:

Replace the rubber-profile seal.

Cut seal at joints.
