Adjusting rear left or right side windows

Note:

The rear side windows can be adjusted without removing
the side trim panels.

Requirement:

Convertible soft top must be correctly adjusted.

Remove rear body molding,

refer to 51 15 390

Remove insert in side trim,

refer to 51 43 110

When adjusting the preload setting, it may be necessary to
remove actuating handle,

refer to 51 25 010

If necessary, adjust door window glass after adjusting side
windows,

refer to 51 32 605

Close convertible soft top and side windows.

Ideal adjustment:

(A) Distance between rear rubber seal (1) and rear edge of door
window.

(B) Upper submersion depth in convertible soft top.

Dimension (A) = 22 ... 24 mm

Dimension (B) = 3 ... 5 mm
