3 Series E36 318is (M44) CONVER
Lift finisher (1) upwards and pull out of gasket (2). Disconnect
spring (3) from linkage.
Partially loosen edge protection (1).
Unscrew bolt (2).
Pull side trim panel inwards to unclip and lift upwards to remove.
Separate webbing.
Installation:
Fit screw (2) with washer.
Note:
On older version, screw is outside the insert.
Partially loosen edge protection (1).
Unfasten screw.
Pull side trim panel inwards to unclip, then pull upwards to
remove.
Separate webbing.
Installation:
Insert guide (1) for side trim panel in groove (2) of inside cover
strip.
