Bend lead-seating unit downwards on tensioning cable (B1).
Remove tensioning cable (B1) at top end and from changeover
lugs (U1) to (U4) and spring (F1).

Knot tensioning cable (B1) to headlining to ensure it does not get
lost.

Caution!

Reversing lugs (U1) to (U4) must not be unfastened (risk of
damage to convertible top cover).

Installation:

Insert tensioning cable (B1) as follows:

(U1), (U2), (F1), (U3), (U4)

Squeeze together new lead-seating unit (1) at distance (A)
from tensioning cable (B1).

(A) = 3 mm

Remove piping (edge protection) from front.

Installation:

Center piping when fitting.

Build status up to 7/95:

Remove cap (1) from right and pull out cable fold ejector to the
left.
