Installation:
During the subsequent function check, make sure that the
convertible top is folded properly and does not rub inside the
convertible top compartment. Sharp PVC edges or tips must
be removed if necessary.
Sharp-edged sheet-metal transitions on the sides can be
taped over with film (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
