Unfasten rotary connection with special tool 16 1 020.
Installation:
Check rotary connection for damage and replace if necessary.
To ensure adequate preload on the seal, always fit new rotary
connection on torsion bar.
Mark starts of threads on screw cap and tank, fit screw cap
and tighten down with torsion bar, then check torque.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 16 14 2AZ.
Installation:
Always replace sealing ring.
To do this, first insert seal in fuel tank.
Installation:
The marker rib on the fuel delivery unit must match the mark
on the fuel tank.
Carefully remove fuel delivery unit.
Press altitude sensor toward housing slightly.
