33 32 000
Removing and installing complete left or right
semi-trailing arm
Caution!
After completion of work, perform chassis alignment check,
refer to 32 00 150.
Disconnect handbrake cable on the wheel brake,
refer to 34 41 120.
Remove output shaft,
refer to 33 21 000.
Drum Brakes:
Unscrew brake pipe holder on trailing arm.
Unfasten brake line on wheel brake cylinder,
refer to 34 21 600.
Disc Brakes:
Unscrew brake pipe holder on trailing arm.
Remove brake caliper (without unfastening the brake line) and tie
up,
refer to 34 21 745.
Installation:
If necessary, bleed brake system,
without ABS refer to 34 00 046;
with ABS refer to 34 00 047.
Note:
Shock absorber has a retaining strap effect.
Support trailing arm with a workshop jack.
Unfasten screws and lower workshop jack.
Installation:
Shock absorber Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 52 1AZ.
Control arm Tightening Torque,
