Manual Seats:
Installation:
Installation is in reverse sequence to removal:
Screw in all screws, but do not tighten.
Run seat forward as far as possible.
Run seat forwards to 2nd detent point.
Ensure that locking claws engage correctly (visual check).
Sitting on rear seat, press seat forward firmly and release several
times.
Tighten the screws.
Run seat back.
Ensure that locking claws engage correctly (visual check).
Tighten the screws.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 52 10 1AZ
Note:
To avoid grinding noise both guides (Z profiles) must always
be lubricated with Klüber Isoflex Topas NB 5051 (refer to
BMW Parts).
Manual Seats:
Stop pad must not be damaged.
