3 Series E36 318is (M44) COUPE
Run the mechanism forward until the slide appears in the opening.
Lift out slides on left and right sides outwards/upwards.
(1) Twist slide upwards.
(2) Remove slide upwards.
Run mechanism forwards.
Push back cross member.
Press down on retainer and pull out cross member completely.
Advance mechanism until lever (lifting device) can be lifted up out
of recess.
