3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Installation:
Apply coat approx. 2 mm high and 2 mm wide of Drei Bond
1209 sealing compound (refer to BMW Parts Service) to joints
beside O-rings between cylinder head and vacuum pump.
Installation:
Replace cylinder head cover gasket.
When fitting cylinder head cover, ensure gasket is correctly
seated on rear side of cylinder head.
Arrangement of components:
(1) Screw
(2) Rubber washer
(3) Sleeve
Installation:
Sleeve (3) large diameter facing cylinder head.
Check rubber-coated disk (2) and replace if necessary.
