3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Unfasten oil pan screws and lift off oil pan.
Installation note:
Sealing faces clean and free of seal debris.
Check seal, replacing if necessary.
Apply Drei Bond 1209 sealing compound around joint, refer
to BMW Parts Service: approx. 3 mm wide and 2 mm high.
Installation note:
To prevent any possibility of torsion stress during subsequent
transmission assembly, align oil pan flush with side of
transmission.
