Replace all valve stem seals (M41)
(cylinder head removed)
Preliminary work is described in section on dismantling and
assembling the cylinder head,
refer to 11 12 504
Removing all valve springs,
refer to 11 34 715
Extract valve-shaft seal with Special Tool 11 1 480.
Installation note:
Coat valve shaft with oil and install valve.
Fit Special Tool 11 1 960.
Coat new valve-shaft seal (1) with oil and install.
Installation note:
Press-fit valve-shaft seal firmly home by hand using Special
Tool 11 1 200.
RA Replace all valve stem seals (M41)
