3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Unfasten lower screw connection in alternator. Lower vehicle
Unfasten top screw connection on alternator. Pull alternator
forwards to allow battery lead to be removed.
Disconnect plug-in connection (1). Remove cover (2).
Remove nuts.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 12 31 1AZ
Pull alternator upwards to remove.
