Adjusting injection pump statically (DDE 2)
(M41)
Connect DIS or MoDiC to diagnosis connector, select
diagnosis program on the DDE control unit, select special
functions or test module, then interrogate the fault memory
of the DDE control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Note instructions on disconnecting/connecting battery,
refer to General Data MG 12
Disconnect and mask positive battery lead.
Coolant temperature > 20

C
Remove drain plug (1).
Installation:
Always replace seal.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 13 51 1AZ
Install special tool 13 5 330. Secure dial gauge under preload.
