Removing and installing complete exhaust
system (M41)
Remove rear heat baffle plate from splash guard
Remove the exhaust pipe from the exhaust turbocharger.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Lightly coat the seal cone and threads with copper paste
CRC, refer to BMW Parts Service.
Loosen the clamp on the exhaust bracket.
Installation:
After the installation of the exhaust system is complete, align
the exhaust bracket without tension.
Disconnect rubber ring on rear-axle carrier.
