Removing and installing power-steering gear
Caution!
If the steering gear is replaced, adjust the front axle after
installation,
refer to 32 00 610.
Recycling:
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Draw hydraulic fluid out of tank and do not re-use.
Installation:
Bleed power steering system,
refer to 32 13 006.
Remove front wheels,
refer to 36 10 300.
Remove steering wheel,
refer to 32 33 000.
Remove left and right track rod with special tool 32 2 070.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 32 21 3AZ.
