Removing and installing or replacing
ABS/ASC+T hydraulic control unit
Note:
Read and comply with General Information.
Important!
After completing work:
Check function of hydraulic control unit.
(Refer to BMW Diagnosis System)
Installation:
Bleed brake system.
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove air-mass flow sensor with air cleaner housing,
Note:
The servomotor must be removed in cars with cruise control.
Draw the brake fluid out of the expansion tank. with a suction
bottle reserved for exclusive use with brake fluid.
