Replacing control unit for ABS
Note:
Remove bottom panelling and glove compartment,
refer to Gr. 51
Caution!
Control unit must only be removed and installed after
switching ignition off.
In vehicles with ASC+T, the new control unit must be activated in
throttle-valve idle position - refer to BMW Diagnosis System.
Unlock control-unit connector.
Fold out clamp (1), pull off connector (2) on right-hand side and
disconnect on left-hand side.
Unscrew mounting bolts.
and remove control unit together with holder.
