3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Fit in wheel housing inner section with help of straightening
attachment. Mark location of mating surfaces.
Remove wheel housing inner section again.
Coat mating surfaces with zinc dust paint. Fit in wheel housing
inner section with help of straightening attachment and clamp.
Weld wheel housing inner section.
Fit in new C-pillar section. Mark cutting line and cut off.
Produce reinforcement plate for C-pillar and fit in.
Width = approx. 60 mm
Drill holes for plug welding.
Clean welding surfaces.
Slide reinforcement plate into remaining C-pillar section approx.
30 mm deep.
Plug weld.
Grind down welded surfaces.
RA Replacing wheel housing, rear left or right (side panel removed)
