Removing and installing/replacing rubber
frame for windshield
Note:
Tear-off lip (3) can be bonded to adhesive.
During removal of rubber frame (1), tear-off lip (3) can tear off and
remains in vehicle.
Installation:
If necessary, there is no tear-off lip (3) in area (A).
Replacement of rubber frame without windshield removal:
Detach tear-off lip (3) from rubber frame (1).
If adhesive above tear-off lip (3) has managed to get onto bridge,
this area must be cut out partially.
To facilitate installation, moisten rubber frame (1) and body cutout
with water.
Replacement of rubber frame with removed or new windshield:
Fit rubber frame (1) with tear-off lip (3).

Aluminum strip
Saloon/sedan:
Open doors and pull off seal on left and right up to roof.
Important!
Rubber frame has an aluminum insert.
Carefully unwind rubber frame by turning (windshield
breakage).
