3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Remove Bowden cable for backrest adjustment:
Pull off retainer.
Installation:
Backrest lock must engage correctly.
Move seat backrest frame back and forth ("locking click" of
locking pawl must be clearly heard).
Caution!
Do not pull on cable.
Use new retainer.
Pull off ball socket.
Push cable back and disconnect it.
Installation:
Always replace screw.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data.
Assemble and install seat.
