3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Secured with 2 screws and 1 rivet:
Drill off rivet (1).
Loosen screws (2).
Installation:
Rivet connection (1) is replaced by hex bolt M5 x 16, self-
locking nut and 2 corrugated washers.
Installation:
Insert input shaft (1) (bendable) in transmission (2).
Guide drive shafts into drive (3) and tighten drive screws.
Installation:
Connect special tools 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 (adapter
leads) on white plug and 12 V power supply source.
Check function.
