3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Hook angled end of approx. 2 mm dia. welding wire in bore (1)
and pull rotary catch forward.
In so doing, move sun roof mechanism back by operating the
winder or motor (sun roof lid opens).
Lift cross member with a screwdriver and pull rotary catch forward.
Note:
Remove (extract) rest of rotary catch if necessary.
Installation:
Position rotary catch (1) and drive (2) correctly.
