Removing and installing complete instrument
carrier
Follow instructions for replacing instrument carrier,
refer to 62 21 001.
Sedan/coupé/convertible/touring
Remove steering wheel, refer to 32 33 000.
Unscrew screws and lift out instrument cluster upwards slightly
and pull forward as far as steering column.
Caution!
Place cleaning rags on steering column to avoid scratches in
glass of instrument carrier.
Push levers on connectors forward and take out connectors.
Installation:
When inserting a connector, lever must be in forward position.
Recode instrument carrier after replacing. Refer to IDC
003/92-14
Compact
Unscrew screws and lift out instrument cluster upwards slightly
and pull forward as far as steering column.
Caution!
Place cleaning rags on steering column to avoid scratches in
glass of instrument carrier.
