3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Spread and remove circlip.
Installation:
Note position of circlip.
The bevelled side must point outwards.
Pull off belt pulley using a standard three-claw extractor tool.
Caution!
Apply pulling claws only on joint between solenoid coil and
belt pulley as otherwise belt pulley could be damaged.
Installation:
Carefully drive pulley onto bearing seat with special tool
33 1 020.
Spread Seeger ring and remove.
Release screw (1), disconnect plug-in connection (2) and remove
solenoid coil.
