Service sheets for Condition Based Service/ Pre-delivery check KSD-DVD

Situation:

The ever increasing number of different models has made it necessary to revise the
maintenance topics pre-delivery check, Condition Based Service, KSD DVD and TIS. The
following changes were necessary.

The information "Condition Based Service - Service Sheets" are generally available via 
SAM for CBS and SIA vehicles, technical information is available in TIS.

These should be printed out as part of the preparations for the order. SAM has the
advantage that only the service operations due for the specific vehicle are given.

As this may be associated with revisions in the process, the Inspection Sheets will be made
available again for a limited time with KSD version 06/07.

Procedure:

Service sheets:

The service sheet is printed out with SAM as part of service consultation.

a) 

SAM: Read in key -> Service operations are selected -> Order basis menu ->
Print service sheet

b) 

SAM: Open key data application -> Order basis menu -> Print manual service
sheet -> Vehicle identification (17-digit vehicle identification number) -> Print
service sheet

The engine oil topping up quantity can be calculated using either TIS, ETK or KSD.

a) 

TIS. Vehicle identification -> Document -> Technical data -> 11 Engine -> 40 Oil
supply

b) 

ETK: Vehicle identification -> Additional info -> Topping-up quantities

c) 

KSD: Vehicle identification -> SRP (Service Repair Packages) -> Oil service

Pre-delivery check:

The service sheet is printed out with SAM as part of the pre-delivery check.

a) 

Read in key with pre-delivery check due -> Order basis menu -> Print pre-delivery
check

b) 

Open key data application -> Order basis menu -> Print manual service sheet ->
Vehicle identification (17-digit vehicle identification number) -> Print pre-delivery
check
