Version 1: Diagnosis of all diagnosable systems disturbed.
Version 2: Some, but not all diagnosable control units can be selected/diagnosed.
Version 3: Diagnosis is possible, but the faults stored in memory are implausible.
Version 4: All control units can be diagnosed, no faults have been stored in memory.
Note:
As from week 37/94 the extra earthing wires have been fitted on the E36 in series
production.
Parts:
The additional earthing wires have been put together in a repair kit and can be ordered
through the normal channels.

Reimbursement:
Material and labour costs incurred can be claimed through the usual warranty channels
subject to current warranty terms as follows:

Any claims concerning further work should be filed as usual using the same defect code
and the labour charges contained in the relevant Flat Rate Manual.
The fault memory printout should always be included with damaged diagnosable parts
which have to be returned.
Reimbursement is limited to 48 months / 100,000 km and the deadline for submitting
reimbursement claims is December 1997 .
