Replace cover for folding sun roof
Remove headliner,
refer to 54 11 045
Only replacement of cover:
Remove both release levers,
refer to 54 11 020
Only for installation and removal of cover:
Unfasten front and back of cover,
refer to 54 11 020
Only replacement of cover:
Unfasten screws and pull guide (1) on cover forwards and to the
left/right.
Installation:
Install screws with Loctite 242.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 54 11 2AZ
Only for replacement of cover:
Remove adhesive traces (1) from all 5 brackets (2).
Only for removal and installation of cover:
Only remove adhesive strips (1) from rear 4 brackets (2).
Remove all brackets (1) from cover (2) and completely remove
cover from folding sun roof.
Remove adhesive residue from all brackets (adhesive cleaner).
