The "Network installation" mask appears in the display. Check the network
configuration data and amend as necessary. Confirm your entries with
"Continue".

The "Printer installation" mask appears in the display. Check the configuration
data and amend as necessary. Confirm your entries with "Continue".

The "Dealer data installation" mask appears in the display. Check the country and
brand(s) selected and the dealer data. Amend these as necessary and confirm
with "Ready".

The system will restart. The Progman start mask will be displayed after the
restart.
All previously delivered "CIP" DVDs are superseded by the current "Progman" DVD.

Installation of "Progman" DVD without basic installation (SSS)

Select the "Administration" button in the Progman start mask.

The "Settings" mask with all Software Service Stations (SSS) in the network
appears in the display.

Select the SSS required.

All available actions are shown on the right-hand edge of the screen.

Select "Installation".

The current SSS installation status is shown.

Select "DVD update"

The prompt appears: "Please insert the Progman DVD in the drive of the selected
SSS and then confirm with "Continue".

The message appears: "Please wait". The system checks whether the installation
can be performed. If the installation is possible, you are able to decide whether
the update should be performed "immediately" (at the next possible instance) or
"later" (in the next servicing period).

Make your selection and confirm with "Continue".

If you select "immediately", Progman will check the operating status of the SSS
selected. The contents of the DVD will be copied. The drive will then open and
the DVD can be removed. Installation is then started.
Note:
A maximum of three Progman sittings may be active on the selected SSS during
the copying process. If more than three sittings are active, Progman will wait until
the restricted operating situation with no more than three sitting has been
achieved. The DVD must remain in the drive until then. Once Progman has
copied the data, the DVD will automatically be ejected.
No sitting is active during installation.

If "later" is selected, the DVD will be copied in the service window for subsequent
installation.
Note:
To access the operating status "Service", Progman will wait until all sittings have
been ended. No new sittings are possible on the selected SSS for duration of this
period. The update will only be started when the operating status "Service" has
been achieved.
