Removing and installing/replacing lumbar
support drive unit (power sports seat, only in
coupé)
Remove seat cushion,
refer to 52 10 079
Remove backrest shell,
refer to 52 10 082
Pull off cloth sleeve (1) in upward direction.
Disconnect plug (2).
Remove lumbar support drive unit (3).
Installation:
Pull undamaged cloth sleeve (to prevent grinding noise) over
backrest frame.
Installation:
Connect special tools 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 (adapter
leads) on white plug and 12 V power supply source.
Check function.
